Can you help? Watchet Station need Victorian clothes for 150th Anniversary Event

(02/02/2012 @ 11:46:00)

Watchet Station is busy preparing for its 150th Anniversary on 31st March 2012.  We hope to replicate what happened on that day in 1862 with a brass band playing, children waving flags and local dignitaries greeting the Celebration train at 9.45 am.

The Station Staff are searching for Victorian clothes for both Staff and Passengers.  Although some outfits have been sourced from Roadwater Players Amateur Dramatic group, their is still a lack of Men's uniforms and Men's clothing from that era.

Can anyone out there help with the loan of outfits for that day?

Are you a person who may wish to take part in the Celebrations at Watchet station and around the Town on 31st March a saturday?
